Dissimilar Metal Adaptors

Johnson Screens^® dissimilar metal adaptor design is made for attaching low-carbon steel to stainless steel. It is considered an additional corrosion protectant for a direct connection of stainless steel to mild steel pipe. A heavy wall, low-carbon steel casing is welded to a stainless steel weld ring, providing a superior bond with limited air within the weld area.
