Intake screens equipped with Johnson Screens' primary filtration Hydroburst™ system is designed to reduce slot entrance velocity 0.5 f/s / 0.135 m/s. Lower entrance velocity protects surrounding aquatic life and prevents debris clogging. This technology can be implemented wherever high volumes of surface water are required.
