PVC Vee-Wire® Screens

More commonly used in shallow wells, Johnson Screens Vee-Wire PVC sonic-welded well screens present higher open area for given slot size than any other non-metallic screen available while still having the reliability that you expect from Johnson Screens. They can resist corrosion from salts and gases commonly found in either salt or fresh water, and are easily treated by our Nu-Well^® pellets to remove encrustations. 

PVC Vee-Wire Screens are available in diameters ranging from 1.25 in. / 31.75 mm to 8.0 in. / 203 mm. Designs with up to a 6 in. / 152 mm diameter are made with our standard rod base, while anything larger features a channel-rod base for enhanced strength.
