Seven World Trade Center

One of Johnson Screens most noted projects is the Seven World Trade Center building in New York City, New York. The third tower to collapse on September 11, 2001, it was also the first to be rebuilt.

Johnson Screens provided the building with an exterior, double-layered podium facade which provides ventilation for transformers within the lower levels of the building. This stainless steel podium wall is blast-resistant and is illuminated by LED lights from behind which change from white to cobalt blue to reflect off the angled wires.
