Vibex and Non-blinding

The non-blinding features of the harp woven wire screen drove the demand for an equivalent polyurethane screening panel with the same non-blinding characteristics. The VR product range evolved as a result of this demand.

The VR panel’s non-blinding feature out-performs all expectations. Users should contact our engineers for recommendations for apertures to suit desired metallurgical results. In an effort to overcome some screening cut-point inaccuracies, our engineers designed the VRX panel. The unique diagonal design of the VRX panel ensures that the aperture remains square even when worn, thus keeping their profile longer than the previous diamond-shape VR panel aperture.

Benefits:

  • More screening area
  • Non-blinding
  • Increased efficiency
  • Higher throughput
  • Reduced recirculating load
  • Accurate cut-point

Vibex is the third generation in the VR stable; it further enhances screening accuracy, efficiency and wear life. This evolution of the Vibex product elevated Johnson Screens to world leadership in non-blinding panels.

Advantages:

  • Standard panel formats
  • Perfect cut point, Identical to a normal square aperture panel
  • Increase in metallurgical life when compared to the older generation non- blinding panels
  • Available in various sizes
  • Surface features can be introduced onto the panel

The Vibex panel is ideal for critical cut point applications, e.g., the diamond, iron and coal industries.
