Drilling mud dewatering provides an economical alternative to the “Dump and Dilute” approach. Excess drilling mud is transferred to the dewatering unit where most of the free water is removed.

Dry solids are discharged and clear water is available for reuse as dilution in the drilling mud or disposal depending on the process of dewatering and environmental parameters.
