Overlay Grids

Johnson Screens^® overlay grids provide the opportunity to upgrade to a high performance surface. Wire mesh overlaid on grating is susceptible to damage from process conditions and just plain old foot traffic. The methods of replacing the mesh require significant manpower to properly tie the mesh into place with no catalyst leakage. Johnson Screens overlays allow replacing the mesh with a fully durable surface requiring little or no maintenance for extended periods of time. 

This overlay provides open area comparable to layers of mesh while incorporating strong wires in a fully welded screen structure. Compare a welded Johnson Screens structure to wire mesh layers made from extremely fine wires that are easily damaged by corrosion, temperature or loads on the surface. A Johnson Screens surface provides confidence of reliable retention of your catalyst or molecular sieve.
