Recruitment Process

We’ve done our best to make the recruitment process simple and transparent. Here are the steps that typically occur before you join the team at Johnson Screens.

Application

Ensure your contact details are up to date. We will email you a confirmation that your application has been received.

Phone interview

Applicants who meet our initial criteria may be contacted for a telephone interview. During this interview we get to know more about you, and you have the opportunity to learn more about the position.

Face to face interview

Successful candidates will be invited to attend at least one face to face interview. Before the day, we will sort out any administrative issues such as the interview time, location and process. This interview provides another opportunity for you to ask us questions.

Further testing

Some positions may need further testing, for example ability tests, pre-employment health assessments, including drug and alcohol tests.

Check references

In your application, you must provide details of at least two professional references who we can contact to confirm your experience. Previous supervisors or managers make good references as they have observed your abilities in the work environment.

Offer and acceptance

If successful, you will either be verbally offered or sent a written offer for the position. If you accept the verbal offer, we will then send you a formal offer for you to sign.
