WHS Series

For food and water processing applications, the Johnson Screens® WHS Progressive Cavity Sanitary Pumps provide the highest quality. The pump can easily handle fluids from thin, flowable liquids to highly viscous materials. The WHS pumps' closed coupled design is constructed of all stainless steel with mechanical seal, TC (Tri Clamp) connection and CIP (clean in place) design makes this pump ideal for those difficult applications with optional stator elastomer material in Viton, Buna, EPDM and High Nitrile.

Johnson Screens has achieved considerable expertise in the manufacturing process of rotors, stators and all component parts of the progressive cavity pump. The material selection and making of the stator elastomer are evident by our outstanding performance and durability.

UNIQUE FEATURES AND CHARATERISTICS:
  • Viscous fluids, slurries, and abrasives (viscosities in excess of 100,000 CP)
  • Suspended particles of varies shapes and sizes
  • Non-Shearing – shear sensitive fluids: wine, food products, polymers and corrosive fluids. Does not alter the fluid during pumping process
  • Flow capacity to 600 gpm / 136 m3/hr and pressure to 170 psi
  • Temperatures to 300°F / 149°C
  • Self priming (high lift capability)
  • Non-pulsating / vibrating for accurate flow monitoring
  • Positive displacement – flow rate directly proportional to speed change
  • Reverse rotation – pumps fluid in either direction
  • Suction port can be rotated 90° in either direction for convenient inlet pipe installation

The economical WHS's versatility across multiple industries and applications has stood the test of time and is available in different models and flow rates. This pump handles fluids from thin, flowable liquids to highly viscous, abrasive materials and suspended solids of various sizes.

Johnson Screens WHS Series Sanitary Progressive Cavity Pump is offered in 8 different sizes with flow range from 2 gpm to 600 gpm / 0.45 m³/hr to 136 m³/hr. All sizes are available in 1 and 2 stages.
