Johnson Screens developed a unique manufacturing process for profile wire, which provides customers with creative and functional solutions for their projects. The strength, precision, and design flexibility that characterize every screen makes them ideal for a broad range of architectural applications.
Johnson Screens has manufactured architectural screens of all shapes and sizes for various projects all over the world. Some of our highlighted projects stem from Paris to Melbourne to New York City.
Seven extraordinary light masts adorn the shores of the Chattanooga River in Chattanooga, TN, USA to illuminate the pier in the evening and provide stark visual effects during the day. The variable slot openings of the light masts make it seem as if the light is changing colors.
The new firehouse for New York Engine Company 277 and Ladder Company 112 in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, USA surely does justice to the service men and women it houses.
Johnson Screens provided the elegance and structural stability required for the Guthrie Theater’s adjacent parking ramp (Minneapolis, MN, USA). The stainless steel wall facade helps protect the interior of the ramp from the elements while still providing an open-air element.
The Queensland Gallery of Modern Art located in Brisbane, Australia is the largest cultural project undertaken in Queensland's recent history. With climate control being an important factor in any art gallery, Johnson Screens® floor grates were used to add function and beauty to this magnificent building.
One of Johnson Screens most noted projects is the Seven World Trade Center building in New York City, New York. The third tower to collapse on September 11, 2001, it was also the first to be rebuilt.
The 18 light masts that adorn the South Pointe beaches of Miami Beach, FL, USA stand tall against the bright blue sky during the day, and provide a luminous walkway at night. These 20-ft / 6 m tall marvels feature lighting on both the top and bottom of the mast. The color of the lights changes randomly providing an ever changing atmosphere.
Johnson Screens offers a wide range of wire and support rod shapes and sizes to select from when designing an architectural screen to suit your application. Our unique manufacturing process consists of welding our patented Vee-Wire® to fixed supports in either a cylinder or flat panel style.
